first collage since grade school

you know, i've done several types of art...sculpting,painting,drawing, writing, and yes i consider writing an art form but i can not recall since being a child creating a collage...that is until today...for some odd reason i just had the desire to attempt this and i'd have to say it is a fun thing to do with some interesting results....and the black and white edges with the print are actually even on all sides but the scanner cut that out of the picture...just thought i'd mention that...until next time...hugs...christen

my fairy name

Your fairy is called Thorn Hailfilter
She is a protector of the lonely.
She lives in brambles and blackberry bushes.
She is only seen on midsummer's eve.
She wears purple and green like berries and leaves. She has cheery turquoise wings like a butterfly.

dark fae painting

this is my newest painting and the idea came from a group i'm in called beginners polymer clay guild...we are working on  art dolls in the wendy froud style of polymer clay head, hands and feet with poseable limbs...first to get started we had a meditation to gain insight into what our muse or fairy guide would lead us to create...and this painting emerged from that lesson on meditation...the next step will be to create a doll simular to the painting
